ProTECt Base — Limited Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty

ProTECt Base warrants the ProTECt Base device against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.

What Is Covered

  • Hardware defects in materials and workmanship
  • Battery capacity falling below 80% of original specification within the warranty period
  • Magnetic array detachment or degradation
  • Siren and strobe component failures due to manufacturing defects
  • Charging circuit failures (wireless charging module)

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or unauthorized modification
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by liquid exposure beyond IP rating specifications
  • Third-party components, including interchangeable defense cartridges
  • Damage caused by use with non-MagSafe accessories
  • Lost or stolen devices

How to Make a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our support team at support@magshieldguardian.com within the warranty period
  2. Provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue
  3. Include photographic or video evidence of the defect
  4. We will provide a return authorization and shipping instructions

Warranty Service

Upon validation of your claim, ProTECt Base will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defect using new or refurbished parts
  • Replace the device with a new or refurbished unit
  • Issue a refund of the purchase price

All shipping costs for warranty service are covered by ProTECt Base for the first year.

Extended Coverage

Extended warranty and accidental damage coverage are available through MagShield Premium+ subscription. This includes:

  • 24/7 priority support
  • Accidental damage coverage (up to 2 incidents per year)
  • Express replacement service
  • International coverage

Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProTECt Base's liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the device. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.
